ITINERARY
DAY 1
Pokhara to Ulleri: Depart Pokhara and travel by road to the village of Hille, which is inside the Annapurna Conservation area. Once inside the conservation area, the road climbs, passing some glorious river scenery before reaching pleasant rice terraces. Commence your trek from the village of Hille (1,475 m.) and onwards to Tirkedunga (1,515 m.). From here there is a steep climb up a series of stone steps to Ulleri (1,960 m.) where we stay for the night.

DAY 2
Ulleri to Ghorepani: Depart from the lodge after breakfast and continue to climb through beautiful forests and rivers. Reach the lodge in Ghorepani for lunch. Wander around the pleasant village for the afternoon, browse the bookshop and look at the jewellery for sale. Leave space for a good evening meal though, as the lodge is renowned for its good food.

Altitude: 2,750 m.
DAY 3
Ghorepani to Swanta: Leave the main trail behind and follow the markers through the forest, passing through the beautiful villages of Chitre (2,390 m.) and Phalante (2,280 m.). Cross the suspension bridge over the Kholang Khola before a short climb, arriving in the picturesque meadows of Swanta for the night.

Altitude: 2,270 m.
DAY 4
Swanta to Dhankharka: This day presents quite a challenge, dominated by a steep climb through thick forests and picturesque fields up to Dhankharka after first crossing the Dhasta Khore Khola.

Altitude: 3,026 m.
DAY 5
Dhankharka to Khopra: After an early breakfast, crack on to the top of Khopra ridge as you leave behind the alpine forests to reveal the tips of the majestic Annapurna range until you eventually arrive at Khopra ridge, revealing a splendid panorama from Dhaulagiri to Annapurna south.
After lunch at Khopra danda there is an optional 4-5 hour extra hike to Khayer Khola Danda. This is a steep climb up stone steps to an elevation of 4,200m. with stone steps.

(DAY 6: oPTIONAL DAY TRIP)
Day trip to Khayer Lake: Wake up to a stunning sunrise lighting up more than 20 peaks of the surrounding Himalaya, before setting off up 3,500 stone steps to the exceptionally picturesque Khayer lake, also a sacred destination for pilgrims.

Altitude: 4,500 m (max elevation).
DAY 6
Khopra to Dobato: Experience another sunrise, before walking down the steep trail back down to Dhankharka. Once again cross the Dhasta Khore at the bottom of the valley, another 1700 steps back up the other side takes you to a lush rhododendron forest, where you will follow the ridge to Dobato.
Walking time: 5-6 hours
Overnight: Dobato (all meals included)
Altitude: 3,420 m.
DAY 7
Dobato to Pokhara via Ghandruk: Climb up to the local viewpoint at the top of Muldedanda (3,640 m.) for a wonderful sunrise view, offering a view stretching from Dhaulagiri, Annapurna I, Macchapuhre to even Manaslu in the best conditions. Return back for breakfast, before trekking to rejoin the main trails at Tadapani, which will be downhill all the way. After lunch, descend to Ghandruk through a lovely forest to the large Gurung village of Ghandruk. From here it is around 2-3 hours by road back to Pokhara.
Walking time: ~6 hours, plus a morning return trip from Mulde viewpoint (~1 hour)
