ITINERARY
DAY 1
Kathmandu: Your journey begins in Kathmandu, stay in comfortable boutique accommodation as you settle into the rhythms of Nepali life. Explore some of the most atmospheric and holiest sites in Kathmandu, such as the ancient Stupas of Bouddhanath and Swayambhunath.
Overnight: Kathmandu

DAY 2
Kathmandu: Continue exploring Kathmandu.

Altitude: 1,400 m.
DAY 3
Fly to Chitwan: Take a short flight from Kathmandu to the Terai region, where you’ll be driven to Chitwan National Park. Explore the area with your guide and enjoy watching the sunset from the river bank.
Flying time: 25 mins + 45 mins drive
Overnight: Sauraha
Altitude: 190 m.
DAY 4
Chitwan: Take a canoe ride in the morning stopping at the elephant breeding centre. In the afternoon go on a jeep safari in the national park. In the evening, there will be a Tharu stick dance performance.

DAY 5
Drive to Bandipur: Drive for a few hours to one of Nepal’s most beautiful villages, Bandipur. Perched on a saddle ridge, Bandipur has been pedestrianised and feature quaint shops and cafes, down a beautiful main street adorned with flowers.

DAY 6
Drive to Pokhara: Drive into Pokhara, Nepal’s second-largest city and famous for its mountain views, Phewa lake, and the base of Annapurna trekking. Relax at your accommodation, enjoy a paddle on the lake and dine at the many western-style eateries on lakeside.
Driving time: 3 hours
Overnight: Pokhara
Altitude: 820 m (max elevation).
DAY 7
Pokhara: Enjoy more of Pokhara
Overnight: Pokhara
Altitude: 822 m.
DAY 8
Drive to Nuwakot: Take a morning hike or linger over breakfast before skirting the city to head over Shivapuri to Nuwakot. Famous as the ‘City of Nine Hills’, Nuwakot holds historical importance in Nepal’s history. Nuwakot Palace was built by Nepal's first king Prithvi Naryan Shah in the 18th century. Sadly, it was badly damaged in the earthquakes of 2015 but is under renovation. Continue to your well appointed farmhouse accommodation nearby.

Nuwakot: Take a morning hike with a guide on one of several walking routes. Explore Nuwakot Durbar or curl up with a book in the garden.
